Black Tooth, a Dutch rock band, is back! Black Tooth plays modern hard rock, inspired by the great rock bands from the seventies.

 

Black Tooth was founded in 2006, by Pascal Nak and Bas van den Berg. In 2007 Black Tooth kicked off with several gigs in The Netherlands and Belgium. In Belgium, Black Tooth played in gigs like Den Drempel, Antwerp and Frontline, Gent. In The Netherlands they played in gigs like dB’s (with Mother Superior, USA), the B-Pop festival in Bilthoven and Geinbeat festival in Nieuwegein.

Having played over twenty gigs in less than half a year, guitarist Bas van de Berg and drummer Danny Schoofs decided to put all their effort in other bands, so they left Black Tooth.

After several changes in the Black Tooth formation, Ivo Kropmans joined Black Tooth in the fall of 2008. In 2009 Martijn Rietveld joined the band. He played a few succesfull gigs with Black Tooth, but he didn't seem to fit in so he left in 2011. After a few months playing as a powertrio, Bas van den Berg joind Black Tooth as lead guitar player.

The current formation is as follows: Bas van den Berg(lead guitar), Pascal Nak (rhythm guitar/vocals), Ivo Kropmans (drums/backing vocals) en Daniël Nak (bass/backing vocals)

In 2012 a new CD will be released.
